Timber-framed house with a garden and a pool, amidst a wonderful nature landscape
The house is situated in the “land of extinct volcanoes” (an area unique in Poland) between the Bober Valley landscape park and the Bober-Katzbach foothills. Bystrzyca is a well-preserved village situated around 400m above sea level and now has the oldest tree (800 years) in Poland which can be found in the medieval cemetery - a second, 19th century, Evangelical cemetery can be found close to the 18th century church and the family home of the famous NASA rocket scientist Wernher Von Braun - about 5 minutes walk away. The village layout is somewhat unusual, as there were two manor houses at its centre. The half-Lusation houses (umgebindehaus) and farm buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries are typical of the area.
Guests have sole use of the whole house and grounds of just under 1 hectare. Relax in privacy in the garden on the four sun loungers on the 400sqm lawn.
