Na Ferradura, the name of the small bay just a stone's throw away, served as inspiration for the name of the house. Translated, it means horseshoe, and you are definitely in luck if you have chosen this centrally located villa in the diverse seaside resort of Cala Ratjada. The beach is just 170 metres away on foot from here, making it almost like an extension of the house's outdoor area. After sunbathing and splashing around in the sea, return to the grounds of the villa to find a beautiful outdoor area that the owner has lovingly landscaped with flowerbeds and shrubs. Here you will find a place where you can enjoy the shade of your covered terrace and plan your afternoon over a cup of coffee or tea. You may also want to start preparing for the evening BBQ; there is a separate terrace area for this, equipped with two sun loungers and inviting you to relax. In Japanese Zen gardens, pebbles often represent the sea. They also play a prominent role in this garden, which, in combination with the proximity of the sea and the salty air, contributes to the maritime character of this place. The white-painted façade leaves no doubt that you are in a Mediterranean setting.

White also dominates the interior of your villa, alongside the calming green colour of the floor. The rooms are furnished in a simple, friendly style that emphasises comfort. The covered terrace adjoins the living room, where there is a fireplace and a dining table. Thanks to the wonders of modern satellite technology, the flat-screen TV receives television programmes from everywhere, so you always know what's going on at home. A magnificent picture of a butterfly is emblazoned on the wall, reminding us how much beauty surrounds us in nature. How lucky we are to be able to enjoy so many things on holiday here thanks to the island's mild climate! Nature also gives us culinary beauty and the villa's kitchen is the perfect place to conjure up Mallorcan specialities such as fresh fish that will be remembered for a long time to come. In the kitchen you will find modern facilities such as a gas hob, perfect for precision cooking. Two of the double rooms have a double bed. In the other rooms you will find single beds, so you have plenty of options. The bathroom has a shower and is large enough for you to enjoy a relaxing and well-kept holiday.

Thanks to the villa's convenient location, there's a good chance you'll be smiling when you think back to your holiday here. The proximity to the beach has already been mentioned. If you like variety, you're sure to feel at home in the holiday resort of Cala Ratjada, where there are numerous bars, restaurants and clubs that contribute to the legendary nightlife. However, don't worry about the noise level - the villa itself is by no means in such a hot spot, although you may occasionally hear traffic noise from the road directly in front of the house. During the day, you may want to take a walk and discover the lighthouse with a breathtaking 360-degree view of the sea or visit the market on Saturdays. If you enjoy playing golf, we recommend a visit to the Capdepera golf course. After a successful round of golf or a good swim at one of the many beaches such as Cala Lliteres, you can reward yourself with a leisurely stroll through the atmospheric town of Artà, just 10 km away, with its colourful mix of cafés and small shops. Located in the centre of Cala Ratjada, Villa Ferradura is just a stone's throw from the beach and an ideal place to enjoy the amenities of a modern, lively seaside resort. The somewhat quieter Cala Agulla is 2.5 km away. You can also go shopping and take a break in the medieval towns of Capdepera and Artà.
