Just a few steps away from the promenade at Malchow harbour with cafés, restaurants, shopping facilities, boat trips and the interesting swing bridge (opening hours during the day always 10 minutes before the full hour) is the holiday apartment on the ground floor of a residential building for up to 3 people, which was completely renovated in 2023. From here you can also see Lake Malchow and the town's impressive monastery complex. The tastefully and modernly furnished, approx. 35 square metre, centrally heated, non-smoking flat can be reached via a shared staircase. It has a living room (sofa bed & extra bed for one person, flat-screen smart TV, dining table, radio, board games) with open-plan kitchen (electric cooker with oven, fridge/freezer combination, kettle, toaster, coffee machine). ) and a bedroom (double bed, wardrobe) and a bathroom (shower, WC, hairdryer). Free WLAN and a lockable bicycle storage room at the back of the house are also available. Baby equipment (cot, high chair, potty) can be provided on request. A public, free car park is located approx. 150 m away; you can stop just outside the house to load and unload. The total price includes final cleaning, bed linen, towels, electricity and water. To be paid on site: Tourist tax. Pets are not allowed in this accommodation.

The small town of Malchow is a tourist gem in the centre of the Mecklenburg Lake District. It is also known as the island town, as the old town is surrounded by Lake Fleesensee and Lake Malchow, and is connected by an earth dam and a listed swing bridge, which opens several times a day for boat traffic. There are also passenger boat moorings, a harbour, restaurants, cafés and shopping facilities. Other attractions include the monastery church, the town mill, a large bathing beach, a summer toboggan run, a monkey forest and a riding stables just outside the town, boat and bicycle hire directly in the town and wellness, sports and golf facilities at the nearby holiday resort Land Fleesensee.
