It's nearest neighbor is Åros Feriesenter with sandy beach, heated salt water pool, mini golf, volleyball court, playground, kiosk, snack bar, pub and store. Otherwise, the center of Tangvall with cafes, stores, restaurants and grocery stores is only a short drive away. Great hiking areas can be found at Årosveden and around the lake Kvernhusvannet. Kristiansand city center is just a 15-minute drive away and Dyreparken Zoo and Amusement Park is just a 30-minute drive away.
