Modern luxury villa with private pool and a big garden, sea view and near the sea

This modern villa with its own pool and garden is in an area with exclusive, private villas on the north side of the island of Kos, with a view towards Pserimos, Kalymnos and the Turkish mainland. It is a kilometre from the village of Zipari and just 9km from the airport. The holiday villa is on a 2500m2 garden plot. Next to it, about 30 metres away, there is a second, separate villa with a pool and garden. The proximity to the beach makes the spacious house ideal for a seaside holiday with family or friends.

The second floor has a 2.5 x 6-metre veranda with a wonderful view of the Aegean and the island of Kalimnos, inviting you to enjoy leisurely meals outdoors. Plenty of terrace furniture is provided. The outdoor pool measures 10 x 5 metres and has the form of a number eight. There are plenty of sun loungers and little tables around the pool and pool towels are provided. An outdoor shower and a grill with accessories are available. Around the house there is the big, Mediterranean garden with a lawn, planted with around 30 banana, apricot, orange and lemon trees, as well as avocados and palms.

The luxuriously furnished villa is spread over three floors, provides around 250m² of living space and can accommodate up to ten people. One of the four bedrooms is on the ground floor. It measures 28m² and has a double bed, a sofa bed and a view of the garden. It also has a big bathroom with a bath and a shower cubicle with massage jets. Right next to the bathroom there is the fitness room, ideal for guests who would like to keep up with exercise on holiday. The first floor has two further bedrooms, each with a double bed and a view of the sea. There is also a big bathroom with a bath. There is a 30m² studio with two single beds, a kitchenette and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The 60m² living room is on the second floor, providing a comfortable suite by the fireplace with a flatscreen TV (satellite receiver). Behind the sitting area there is the dining space with an open, fully-equipped kitchen. There are two big windows (3 x 2 metres) on the south side of the living room, with a view of the biggest mountain on the island, Dikaios. Another bathroom rounds off the accommodation. The house has central heating and each room has air conditioning. Board games for children, a Playstation 3 and wireless Internet access are provided. Two hairdryers, a children’s bed, scales, a safe, a fire extinguisher and a First Aid Kit are also available.

The well-organised Tigaki beach is only about 500-600 metres from the house. There are many good restaurants, bars and shops in the popular Tigaki. It is 10km to Kos town.

This luxury villa was renovated in 2012 and has a very modern and appealing design. The big windows that allow ample daylight in are a special feature, along with the great sea view. Cleaning, a change of towels and bed linen and pool cleaning take place three times a week.

    “Das ist ist sehr gut für eine Gruppe von acht bis 10 Personen geeignet. Es bietet genügend Rückzugsmöglichkeiten im Innen- und Außenraum, durch die verschiedenen Balkone und Terrassen. Es ist sauber und liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend. Die Bilder sind identisch. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
    Pool und Außenanlagen sind gepflegt.

    Wir hatten das Haus für ein Familientreffen gebucht und sind uns alle einig, es ist ein Haus zum Wohlfühlen.

    Der Strand ist nur über den Ort Tigaki zu erreichen, ohne Auto ist das etwas beschwerlich. Der breite Sandstrand ist sehr schön und lohnenswert.”

    “Had a wonderful stay! The villa is spacious, nicely decorated and well looked after. The owner couldn't have been more thoughtful and accommodating - assisting with initial travel to the supermarket, dinner recommendations and reservations, and arranging for taxis. Once we became more familiar with the area, we found that villa was within walking distance of the supermarket and town so we didn't need to rely on the kindness of the owner quite so much. Staying at the villa was a superb start to our stay in Greece and Turkey.”

    “We have been visiting Kos nearly every year for 15+ years as we have family there. We have just returned from a weeks stay at Xenos Villa 2 and are so happy that Kos now finally has quality villa rentals available. This villa is huge and offers the very best of everything you could want from your holiday. Secure, quiet, private with stunning views, perfect to unwind and relax by the pool, not far from the beaches, restaurants and nightlife of Tigaki and Kos Town. Truly fantastic holiday and a big thank you to Nicholas and Lydia who are very friendly & welcoming. They let us enjoy the privacy of this beautiful villa but were also only too willing to assist us when called upon.”

    “We were looking for a last minute holiday and the island of Kos proved to be the destination that would fit with flights and our dates. Amazingly, we discovered that there were still a few villas available for the week, and we eventually opted for Xenos Villa 2. On arrival, it was positive impressions all around. The villa is set in a pleasant and well-tended garden with huge palm trees leading up to the house. The pool area is a delight, with plenty of sun loungers, a decent sized pool and a plunge pool as well. It's also not overlooked (nod, nod, wink, wink). The villa itself has quite a modern, cubist design on the outside. Internally, everything is a little more traditional: modern but homely, in other words. We particularly liked the top floor, with its well supplied kitchen, comfortable living area and generous sized balcony. There were only the two of us, but all the bedrooms are well sized and, most importantly, have air-con. That may seem an irrelevance to some, but when temperatures are in the mid 30s in the day and upper 20s at night, at least you're guaranteed of getting a decent night's sleep. One of the issues we considered was self-catering vs. eating out. The Xenos villas provide both, as the kitchen is perfectly sufficient (a welcome pack plus a generous selection of fruit is provided) and the nearby village/resort of Tigaki has a huge range of surprisingly good restaurants and bars that seem to avoid the hedonist excesses associated with charter flights. Tigaki also has a good supermarket. . Finally, we'd like to thank Maria and Nicholas for their hospitality and making a rather rushed holiday thoroughly enjoyable.”
